Sam Fairbrother spent her childhood travelling between the Peak District and Italy. Napoli was an adventure playground to her and at the age of twelve she commandeered her Father’s camera to explore the narrow dilapidated streets of Pozzuoli, capturing the back alleys encased with scaffolding, the harbor full of fishing boats and stalls of freshly caught fish.
After studying photography at Stockport College where she obtained a BTEC, she went on to do an Art Foundation and finally a BA (hons) in Applied Arts. Her infatuation with photography stayed with her throughout and after finishing her education she and her camera spent a period of time travelling through Australia and Indonesia. |

She enjoys working creatively in both film and digital, coupled with an extensive knowledge of image manipulation, accurate colour management and digital workflow. Her time is divided equally between location and studio. |
